Luis Joaquin Lovos (Joaquin) named Bella Aurora, or Beautiful Aurora, in honor of his mother. In a lovely stroke of serendipity, Aurora is also the middle name of our founder Mark Trujillo’s own grandmother. Using meticulous grow practices, Joaquin produces Caturra exclusively on his farm. We have partnered with Joaquin in sourcing this beautiful coffee for several years and will continue to do so. From Finca Bella Aurora…enjoy!

Mark, the owner, co-owns a coffee farm in South America so the brans are high quality and fresh!

They roast the beans that they use for their espresso. They vary the origin and types of beans seasonally. We got two iced lattes. They were strong, full bodied and yet rather fruity. They were good and different from what you get in most places.
